This practice currently has 2 elective surgeons and 1 emergency general surgeon. We are looking for another emergency general surgeon with a team mindset who wants to make an impact in a rapidly growing suburban community near Charlotte, NC.
Atrium Health Union is a 175-bed hospital in Monroe, NC, providing comprehensive emergency services and specialty medical care. The campus offers a variety of medical services, including full radiology services including interventional radiology, gastroenterology, full blood bank support, day surgery center, cancer treatment center, long-term care facility, behavioral health center, specialty care clinics, a community wellness and outreach program, a women and children’s center, interventional heart program and physician practices. Over the past 100 years our hospital has been serving the Monroe area, which has experienced 15% population growth over the past 5 years.
Freestanding emergency rooms within Atrium Health provide added access to patients and surgical consultations to all locations. Atrium Health Union supports one freestanding emergency room as well as Atrium Anson, which is a 15-bed critical access hospital.
Within 45 minutes of Charlotte and all of what it has to offer (NFL, NBA, broadway musicals, restaurants etc)
